Flashing Lights

*Thinking back, my parents used to have a pretty rad  record collection. The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Who, Muddy Waters, Otis Redding, and even ABBA, all made appearances. Yes, pretty classic fare, but there was one LP that stuck out like a sore thumb: Lord Sutch and Heavy Friends, with its flamboyant union jack/swinging 60s cover. Years later when I started DJ'ng vinyl, I started to take this record more seriously. "Flashing Lights," w/ musical backing from Led Zeppelin's Jimmy Page and John Bonham (as well as Jeff Beck, Noel Redding, and Nicky Hopkins), became something of a secret psychedelic weapon that always got the party rocking. Well, here it is now, available to all to enjoy!!! And that's a good thing... PEACE

water talk

the sun is shining today and i'm thinking about swimming...
in lakes, in the pacific ocean, or anywhere else that there is clean water to dip into...
i feel lucky.
i love hot springs, i love pools, and dig baths, though i don't have one of those in my life anymore...
sigh...
i am still VERY lucky.
PEACE
