*though i don't know too too much about his skateboarding history (apart from that he was/is obviously rad), i've often returned to the music of ray barbee... jazz influenced guitar w/ a bit of west coast hippie/break beat groove. check out "triumphant procession" and "in full view" (both on santa cruz's galaxia records)...
